You are authorized to:
- Print and use 3D prints and projects created from the design for personal use, in unlimited quantity;
- Modify, adapt, and add features for personal use;
- Share project images on platforms like social media or websites, with proper attribution.
You are NOT authorized to:
- Use this project without legal licensing;
- Use the project, its files, or the completed project for commercial purposes or profit;
- Share the project, its files, or the completed project with unlicensed individuals;
- Modify or adapt the project for purposes other than personal and private use;
- Distribute, sell, donate, or exchange digital project files or their variants, even if created by you.
LICENSE DEFINITIONS
This license is published at https://digitalinventor.shop/pages/personal-and-pro-license, and in case of discrepancies, the version hosted at this address is valid. Inability or hindrance to access the referred address does not invalidate this license.
Inventor Digital's Personal License grants the right to use projects, documentation, instructions, videos, 3D models, and any other files within the project package for exclusively personal and private use. It is non-transferable, global, and non-exclusive.
By exercising usage rights over the project and its content, you agree to comply with the terms of this usage license and assume the legal consequences for violating these terms.
Article 1 - Definitions of Terms and Expressions
- A "project" consists of a set of information provided in digital format, including but not limited to documents, manuals, 3D models, 3D model files, source files of 3D models, computer program source codes, 3D model files, videos, and any other instructional materials protected by copyright laws (Copyright).
- A "completed project" is the physical version of the licensed project, including but not limited to 3D printed, machined, sculpted, constructed models, their assemblies, and relevant additional parts.
- A "3D model" is an object represented in three dimensions containing faces, edges, vertices, and/or organic surfaces.
- A "3D model file" is a digital file containing the representation of a 3D model in a consolidated format, which may be saved but is not limited to STL, OBJ, 3MF formats.
- A "source file of a 3D model" is a digital file containing the representation of a 3D model in an editable format by specialized programs, which may be saved but is not limited to DWG, SWF, SolidWorks, TinkerCAD, MeshMixer, Blender, and others.
- A "3D print" is the physical version of a 3D model, printed, machined, injected, or constructed from the 3D model or the 3D model file.
- A "computer program source code" consists of a set of written instructions, using a programming language that can be compiled or interpreted to execute procedures and functionalities on a computational platform.
- "Licensing" consists of granting the rights to use the project, under the terms of this license and under copyright laws.
- The term "share" means making licensed items available, distributing, copying, transmitting, exporting, sending, or assigning access to licensed items to third parties through any means, whether digital or physical, at any time.
- The term "licensed person" refers to any individual or entity exercising the rights granted by the license.
- The term "commercial purposes" refers to obtaining direct or indirect profits from the sale, distribution, sharing, donation, exchange, copying, modification, or adaptation of the licensed project and/or its materialization in the form of printing, 3D printing, machining, injection, or construction from the 3D model or the 3D model file provided in the licensed project in part or in whole.
- The term "personal purposes" or "private purposes" refers to the use of the project, its content, and the results obtained from the application of the project's instructions and files for purely and exclusively personal and non-profit purposes.
Article 2 - Scope of this License
This license grants the licensed person the right to use the project content for personal and private purposes worldwide in a non-sublicensable, non-transferable, non-exclusive manner, and grants the rights provided in this license throughout the term of this license with the aim of:
- Reproducing the content and instructions of the licensed 3D models through 3D printing, material machining, sculpting, or construction, in whole or in part, for private and personal use.
- Making images of the completed project available to the public through means of communication such as social media or websites.
Article 3 – Terms of Use of this License
This license may include:
- Text and video files containing instructions supporting the printing, construction, and assembly of the project.
- 3D model files that may be, but are not limited to, OBJ, STL, 3MF formats.
- Supplementary project support files in various formats, including but not limited to PDF, TXT, JPEG, PNG, GCODE, among others that the author of the licensed project may find necessary.
This license does not include:
- Source files of 3D models, computer program source code files.
- Vouchers, credits, or discounts of any kind for the acquisition of materials needed for the construction of the project in part or in whole at any time.
If you share images of the completed project, you must:
- Identify the author(s) of the licensed project in the post or disclosure.
- Provide the URL or hyperlink to the page of the licensed project on the website www.inventordigital.com.br in the same post or disclosure.
This license does not allow the licensed person to:
- Sell, distribute, share, donate, exchange, copy, modify, or adapt the licensed project in part or in whole, in digital or physical format.
- Sell, distribute, share, donate, exchange, copy, modify, or adapt the digital files of the licensed project in part or in whole, in digital or physical format.
- Sell, distribute, share, donate, exchange, copy, modify, or adapt the results obtained or objects built from the licensed project in part or in whole, in digital or physical format.
- Profit directly or indirectly from the use, application, or construction of material goods based on the content of the digital files contained in the licensed project.
- Register patents for products derived from 3D models, 2D drawings, electronic schematics, or any other material included in the file package of this license. The penalty for violating this clause is the payment of fifty percent of the gross sales value of products derived from this material throughout the marketing period.
Article 4 - Warranty Limitations and Disclaimers
Unless otherwise specified, this license does not include any warranty of any kind, including, but not limited to, any express, implied, statutory, or other warranty regarding this license or the licensed project, including but not limited to the results of the execution and use of the project content.
Article 5 - Duration and Termination
This license applies as long as the licensed project is in force on the Inventor Digital website. Non-compliance with the obligations of this license will automatically result in the revocation of the rights granted by this license and applicable legal sanctions. The invalidation of any clauses in this license agreement does not invalidate the entire contract or the remaining clauses.
